Practical Workshop of Surgical Hysteroscopy

Introduction and Objectives

The hysteroscopic workshops organized by Del Mar University Hospital is a practical training course for specialists in obstetrics and gynecology.

 

Previous experience in diagnostic hysteroscopy is needed for only practice participants

 

The practice participants will be able to make real practice in different hysteroscopy surgeries, with different surgical devices, guided by an international expert on each of them.

 

We have chosen the four main hysteroscopic surgical devices: Versapoint, Mini resectoscope, Truclear System and Diode laser and 12 different patients.

 

Each participant will have the opportunity to
train in 2 procedures, with two different devices.

 

The attendants without training will take part of surgeries and discussions from the conference room in a very interactive session.

 

During the afternoon we will offer the opportunity to try different kind of pelvic trainers, in a guided session, by expert hysteroscopy surgeons. Designed in order to improve your hysteroscopic skills.

Introduction and Objectives

Endoscopic surgery has become an integral part of gynecology surgery. Procedures like laparoscopy and hysteroscopy are now on demand and spread around de world. The hysteroscopic workshop, organized by Vall d’Hebron Hospital, is a practical training course for specialists in obstetrics and gynecology.

 

It is mandatory to have experience in diagnostic hysteroscopy (more than 50 procedures) to perform office hysteroscopy surgery without any anesthesia.

 

This course encompasses to fulfill and learn the surgical indications, techniques and complications of office hysteroscopy. The participation in all procedures will be active and under an expert supervision. It has been chosen 24 surgical procedures based on the most common clinical situations. Each workshop trainee will have the
opportunity to perform 3 surgeries. Meanwhile, the rest of the participants will discuss them inside the conference room.

The hysteroscopic workshops, organized by Consorci Sanitari Integral, are practical training courses for specialists in obstetrics and gynecology.

 

It´s mandatory to have experience in diagnostic hysteroscopy (more 50 procedures) only practice participants.

 

The main goal is to learn the surgical indications, techniques and complications of surgical hysteroscopy. The participation in the proceedings is active and will be under supervision of an expert. We have chosen 20 surgical procedures among the most common diseases. Each participant will have the opportunity to train in 3 procedures. The attendants without training will take part of lectures, surgeries and discussions from the conference room.
